Pinoy Waffle is a cart business which sells Belgian waffle with a Pinoy twist. Owned by BAs Angelica Castillo, Juan Paolo dela Paz, and Fabris Suarez, Pinoy Waffle is now making a name for itself. Angelica conceptualized the business during the first quarter of the year 2004. Working as a business development manager for a franchising firm, she thought of putting up her own business. Together with Juan Paolo, a marketing graduate and a businessman, they made the idea come to life. They also invited Joey, their FQ sponsor and Fabris, a businessman, to be their partners.

Through hard work and dedication, they were able to put up two more outlets just after a month! Last March, Pinoy Waffle, with now more than fifty outlets nationwide, bagged the “No. 1 Waffle Store” Award at the Annual Shopper’s Choice Awards. The company now employs more than 150 employees from Luzon to Mindanao. And watch out-this ambitious group, proud of their original idea, is planning to put up outlets outside the Philippines soon! Juan Paolo, Pinoy Waffle’s Marketing Director says that the FQ training seminars they’ve attended and the attitude he has developed while working on his FIRST QUADRANT business has greatly help him to manage their new business in a dynamic and aggressive way.
